-Adam got a job if you didn't already know, he is working for Richmond homes as a Graphic Designer and so far likes it but I guess things are a little slow right now and they expect things to pick up right when we leave for Brazil.
- I was called to be the Young Womens President in the ward and so far it's crazy but it's great!
- Cronus the super dog has learned the new word "Park" and knows he gets to go play with the other dogs when he hears that word. Also he has recently gone insane chasing every moving ray of light or shadow that appears in the house, just like he does the laser pen. We don't know how to break him of this habit, he's obsessed!
- I did my first craft show selling mittens in Colorado and it was awesome, I sold them for a lot more than I was selling them in Utah and I still just about sold out and nobody complained about the price.
- I spent most of the money I made selling mittens on some incredible purses made from old mens suits, Totally worth it!
- Suprisingly our house doesn't stay nearly as clean now that Adam is working full time. He was a great house keeper!
- The weather was in the 70's last week and then this week decided to drop into the single digits, it's so so cold out there.
- I finally lost enough weight to meet the goal that I was supposed to have met before the ending of 2008, better late than never, and much better than gaining another 10 lbs in the past year. Thanks to the HCG diet again.
- We spent Thanksgiving just us and the mountains hiking all day and making a quick thanksgiving meal at 8:30 at night. Then woke up at 3:00 am black Friday only to find that the one thing we wanted they didn't even have in stock, we found plenty of other things to splurge on and are now stuck without food money so that we can afford to eat in Brazil. Thank goodness for Ramen, food storage and eggs. I was supposed to sell mittens to make money to buy food but spent it on purses instead, still Totally worth it!
- Now that we are both busy with work and church stuff we've met friends that we most likely will never spend time with because of our opposite schedules, but at least we aren't friendless anymore.
-We leave for Brazil in two weeks and I almost fit into my tankini
-Adam's parents are coming to visit next week, we don't have an air matress for them to sleep on. . .another thing I was supposed to sell mittens for but spent the money on purses instead, my sisters will thank me for sacraficing my in-laws comfort for the unique stylish purses they are getting for christmas.
-I am officially on night shift schedule even though I usually only work 2 nights a week I can't make myself fall asleep before 1 am and don't even sleep nearly as well at night as I do during the day.
- The zipper on my favorite jacket broke, this would not have mattered a year ago since I couldn't squeeze the jacket closed around my fat but, however it does fit around my less fat butt now and I can't even enjoy the pleasure of zipping it up.
- Adam some how lost almost every single pair of white socks he owned during the move and went out and bought a mega bag from costco and now that he has a job he never even wears white socks, he'll probably have to go and buy a big bag of black socks now, maybe we could dye his white socks?
-Nobody reads my blog anymore since I rarely post anything and when I do it's not really entertaining, but I enjoy writing this blog since it's 2 am and I"m having a hard time keeping my eyes up and have to go to a ward christmas party at 8:00 am.
-Oh yeah, oh ward Christmas party is at 9:00 am on a Saturday morning, what is that all about, who wants to eat cookies, sing Christmas songs, see Santa or see anybody that early in the morning, especially after you've worked all night? Is that weird or is that just me complaining?
-It's time for me to do my job. Hope you enjoyed my rambling and if not at least it gave me something to do!

A Thanksgiving spent in the mountains sounds fabulous! What a great location huh? Brazil? Why are you guys going to Brazil? P.S. your blog is not boring... I very much enjoy it:)
I still read your blog! I can't wait to hear about your trip!
Are you joking - I read your blog! ;) That was so funny by the way...enjoyed the rambling! And, I say ditch the ward Christmas party - that's lame to do it that early I doubt they will even have that many people attend.
Love the newsy blog! And don't worry about our comfort. Purses are definitely a better purchase!!!!!!
