The weather has been incredible the last few weeks, Owen and I spend a lot of time outside, going on long walks and to the park, he's going to be a golfer, baseball player or hockey player he loves this game.
We bought an annual pass to the zoo this was our first time there, and yes we put Own on a leash, I swore I would never do it but he loved walking around and we didn't have to worry about him climbing into the Lion's den.
We bought Owen a big boy bed, he is so tall and gets stuck sleeping the wrong direction in his crib every night and keeps banging his head, yet he loves it and even though we've had this awesome car bed for over a month he has yet to sleep in it, it makes a great toy for now!
We threw an awesome Disco party for New years Eve! Thanks everyone for such a great time!
Christmas was just us again, which is very fun and relaxing, Owen didn't quite get it but loved all the new toys!
In his favorite vest, for weeks in the morning he would bring it to me and wear it around the house over his pi's, silly boy!
Loving his new wood trucks
showing off my tennis gear, excited for Adam to teach me how to be a tennis pro!
Owen's all time favorite christmas gift, we bought most of his gifts at the thrift store this year so we could get more, he didn't seem to mind one bit!
Christmas eve at the botanical garden lights, it was a bit chilly!
SNOW DAY!!!
I dont' remember what Owen is eating in this picture probably yogurt and graham crackers, those are the staples in his diet! I just loved this picture!
We are working a lot both Adam and I, Owen spends 3-4 days a week with a good friend of mine and her kids, he loves them so much and we are so blessed to have them looking after him. Owen still doesn't say much: Mom, Here and Here you go, get out, what's this, Go. some of these are not real words just words we assume he is saying. He loves to be outside, he loves his puppy cronus, he give great kisses and has been very snuggly lately, He just starting going to nursery, he's had some good days some not so good days. He loves any kinda of electronics and frequently gets sent to timeout for climbing up to get on the computer and turning the power strip off and on. He loves to run and throw things. Shaun the Sheep and Pokoyo are his favorite shows. He dances every chance he gets especially when his finds a box or chair to stand on. He is a great helper in the kitchen and helps me make dinner and bake almost every day, even though that means sitting on the counter playing with the magnets on the fridge and pressing buttons on all the unplugged appliances and occasionally helping me dump ingredients into the bowl and mixing things. He is a very happy boy and we love him so much!
I'm still working nights and YW president, I recently started running again and can't believe I went so long without it, it's a great therapy and I just love it! Signed up for a 5k in May and the Wasatch back relay in June hoping to fun a half marathon before my 30th birthday in September.
Adam is working full time freelance for a local marketing group. He is trying to get things set up so he can do freelance from home. He has several projects he's working on now and hopping to find more clients by the time his hours run out in May so that he can still have an income.
Even though we have crazy schedules and don't have the most ideal job situations, we are truly blessed and love life!
